Fuel Off-Road Wheels
Fuel Off-Road wheels
Rasl'Bitume distributes the Fuel Off-Road catalog, with actual stock listed product by product. All our Fuel wheels are sold individually: you build the exact fitment for your vehicle.
Fuel est une marque américaine entièrement dédiée au pick-up, au 4x4 et au SUV. This is not a cosmetic detail: its wheels can handle 1,000 to 1,700 kg per wheel, whereas a passenger-car wheel tops out at around 700 kg, and they cover American bolt patterns (5x127, 6x139.7, 8x165.1) that European brands often offer rarely.
Unsure about the load rating, offset, or track-width increase? Send us your registration document, and we'll confirm the fitment with you before purchase.
Approval: what you need to know before ordering
Fuel is an American brand: its wheels comply with the standards in force in the United States and do not have TÜV approval or European European. In France, the roadworthiness test checks the condition, installation, and wheel protrusion, not the wheel's original certification.
When it may cause a problem
If your insurer, leasing company, or individual vehicle approval requires a document approval, these wheels cannot provide it. We prefer to say so before purchase rather than afterward. In that case, turn to our OZ Racing, TÜV-approved.
Choosing your Fuel wheel
On a pick-up or 4x4, the maximum load rating takes priority over everything else. It must cover the load actually supported by one wheel, vehicle loaded—the registration document lists the axle weight, which simply needs to be divided by two. Each product page specifies this value.
Next comes the bolt pattern, which must match the mounting holes exactly of your hubs, followed by the offset (ET). Many Fuel wheels have an offset negative: the wheel sticks out noticeably, which is the desired look, but this widens the track, puts more strain on the bearings, and may cause the wheels to protrude of the original setup. Check the clearance and fender coverage.
Finally, the center bore must be greater than or equal to the hub; if it is larger, a centering ring fills the gap—they are included with every order of 4 wheels.

Frequently asked questions
Are Fuel wheels approved in France?
They meet American standards and do not carry TÜV approval or European certification. French roadworthiness testing does not check original certification of a wheel, but if you need a document for your insurer or for individual approval, these wheels will not be able to provide it.
What is a beadlock wheel?
A bolted ring clamps the tire bead against the wheel. This allows you to drive at very low pressure without debeading, which is useful for off-road driving. This is specialized equipment: it requires regular torque tightening and is not of interest for exclusively road use.
How do I check the load rating I need?
Your registration document indicates the maximum weight per axle (fields F.2 and F.3). Divide by two to obtain the load per wheel, and choose a wheel whose capacity is higher. On a pickup used for towing or carrying loads, do not take this margin to light-duty. Send us your registration document if you would prefer us to check.
What hardware is needed for Fuel wheels?
60° conical hardware, as with almost all alloy wheels. However, note the thread: on American vehicles, it is often in inches (½"-20, 9/16"-18) and not metric. Check yours or ask us.
Are the centering rings and center cap included?
The matching Fuel center cap is always included, regardless of the quantity ordered. Centering rings are included with every order of 4 wheels: specify the vehicle concerned so we can send you the correct diameter.
Can I order just one wheel?
Yes, all our Fuel wheels are sold individually. Adjust the quantity in the cart: 1 for a replacement, 4 or 5 for a complete set with the spare wheel.
