Qué cambia esta pieza

Una junta del colector ha sido aplastada una vez: se ha adaptado a las imperfecciones de la brida y ha perdido su elasticidad. Al volver a montarla, silba en frío y después deja pasar los gases, que queman la superficie de apoyo.

La junta cuesta unos pocos euros. La planitud de una culata, mucho más.

Qué hay que prever

  • Solicitar junto con la pieza: colector, downpipe o línea.
  • Limpiar la superficie de apoyo con un cepillo de latón antes del montaje y apretar en cruz al par especificado.
