The Air Lift 24551 is a pressure switch designed for automatic compressor control. It starts the compressor when pressure drops below 110 PSI (≈ 7.6 bar) and shuts it off at 145 PSI (≈ 10.0 bar). Threading is 1/8" MNPT.

Installation Tips

Installation (recommended by a professional)

1. Turn off the power and depressurize the circuit if necessary.
2. Screw the pressure switch onto a 1/8" NPT port (tank / manifold / designated line).
3. Use Teflon tape or a sealant paste suitable for NPT threads (without excess).
4. Connect the wiring according to your diagram (often via a relay to protect the circuit).
5. Test: the compressor should start below 110 PSI and shut off at 145 PSI.

The Air Lift 24551 is a mechanical pressure switch (compressor ON/OFF). It is not an analog sensor (0–5V) for pressure reading on a digital controller.
