Why a controlled suspension bypass?

The KW active suspension deactivation kits allow the installation of all types and brands of non-active shock absorbers or coilovers without error messages on the dashboard and without electronic anomaly alerts.

Many recent vehicles come equipped from the factory with active suspension (e.g., Audi Magnetic Ride, Opel IDS, etc.).
When replacing the original suspension with a sportier, more economical, and/or lowered model, the control unit detects that the sensors are no longer connected and triggers an error.

How does it work?

The deactivation systems create an electronic decoy that simulates the presence of the controlled elements.
