ABS Removal & Brake Accessories
Removing the ABS unit lightens the front end by several kilos at the highest point of the engine bay, frees up space, and eliminates one more control unit. In drifting, factory ABS that activates during a weight transfer is a hindrance anyway.
A kit, not an improvisation
A removal kit provides rigid lines already bent to the correct lengths, with the original threads: remove the unit and reconnect the pipes directly. Making these lines yourself requires clean bending and a flaring tool - for a safety-critical component, the kit costs less than a failed attempt.
What to know before removing it
ABS removal is not accepted at the roadworthiness inspection on a vehicle that was originally equipped with it, and the warning light will remain on the dashboard. This is a modification for a track vehicle.
