Founded in 1956, American Racing created one of the most recognizable designs in automotive history: the Torq Thrust, five-star-spoke which have become inseparable from muscle cars. The Vintage range reproduces the classics in period-correct specifications, alongside modern sizes.
Each product page states the maximum permitted load — an important point to check on large American vehicles and pickup trucks.

The Torq Thrust, a legendary design
Designed in the late 1950s for dragsters, the Torq Thrust became the iconic wheel of the American muscle car. American Racing offers it in several versions: the Torq Thrust II and the Original in period-correct specifications, the Torq Thrust M in a modernized version, with a refined lip.
The rest of the catalog covers the brand’s other classics — Outlaw, Vector, Salt Flat, Baja — in sizes ranging from 14 to 22 inches.
Some wheels are supplied undrilled
Some options are sold BLANK: the wheel arrives blank and must be drilled to your vehicle’s bolt pattern by a properly equipped workshop. This allows the brand to cover rare or older bolt patterns that the standard catalog does not include.
These product pages clearly indicate this with a “Un drilled” badge. Allow for the the machining cost in addition to the price of the wheel — and write to us if you are unsure that the option fits your vehicle.

What does “BLANK” mean on certain references?
The wheel is supplied undrilled: it must be machined to your vehicle's bolt pattern by a vehicle by a properly equipped workshop. This is the solution chosen by American Racing to to cover rare or older bolt patterns. Allow for the machining cost in addition.
What is the difference between Torq Thrust II, M, and Original?
The same design in three versions: the Original and the II retain the period specifications, while the M is a a modernized version with a slimmer lip and contemporary dimensions. The choice depends especially your vehicle and the look you are seeking.
What do the AR105 and VN515 codes mean?
This is the American Racing product reference. “AR” indicates the current range, “VN” indicates the Vintage range. The name that follows identifies the design—it is on this that our collections are organized. The code remains displayed in the product page title.
Why check the maximum load rating?
It must cover the actual load supported by one wheel when the vehicle is loaded. Your registration document lists the axle weight: divide it by two. This is decisive on pickup trucks and large American cars.
Can I order just one wheel?
Yes, all our American Racing wheels are sold individually—practical for replace a damaged wheel on an existing axle.
