Brake Air Ducts
The duct outlet is the terminal component: it takes the air supplied by the duct and directs it at the center of the disc, where it enters the ventilation vanes and exits at the outer edge.
Why the center of the disc
A vented disc is a pump. Air enters through the hub and exits at the edge due to rotation. Blowing onto the outer face cools almost nothing; feeding the center makes the entire internal surface of the vanes work. It is the same airflow, for a result that is incomparable.
Universal or dedicated
Dedicated models attach to existing mounting points and are correctly aimed from the outset. A universal model requires a bracket to be made and a clearance test at full steering lock, with the wheels turned fully and the suspension compressed.
