Founded in 1971 in Veneto, OZ is one of the few equipment manufacturers to having supported Formula 1, the World Rally Championship and endurance racing for more than forty years. The road ranges directly inherit this work: designs, manufacturing processes and inspection requirements.
Almost the entire catalog is TÜV-approved, the certification the most demanding in the European market — a point that clearly distinguishes OZ from most aftermarket brands.

Cast, flow-formed or forged: what really changes
This is the manufacturing process that explains most of the price difference in within the OZ catalog, with comparable design and dimensions.
Cast
Gravity-cast, the standard process for road ranges. Geometry controlled, at an accessible price. This is the brand's entry point.
Flow Forming — HLT
HLT stands for High Light Technology: the wheel is hot-stretched during its rotation, which densifies the material around the tire bead seat. Increased rigidity, reduced unsprung mass, without the cost of forged wheels.
Forged
The aluminum is compressed under very high pressure: the metal grain follows shape of the part instead of being cut. The lightest and durable — the Superforgiata and Ultimate ranges.
Choosing your OZ wheel
Three measurements determine whether a wheel fits your vehicle. The bolt pattern (4x100, 5x112, 5x130…) must exactly match the drilling of your hubs. The offset (ET) determines the wheel's position in the passage de roue : plus l'ET est faible, plus la jante ressort. L'alésage central must be greater than or equal to the hub; if it is larger, a centering ring the center bore fills the gap — they are offered with every order of 4 wheels.
Sur OZ, deux points supplémentaires méritent votre attention. La charge maximum permissible, listed on each product page, must cover the load per wheel your fully loaded vehicle: this is crucial for SUVs, vans, and electric vehicles. And references marked CL are intended for center-lock: they can only be fitted to a nut-based hub unique, never on a standard studded hub.
Frequently asked questions
What does TÜV approval guarantee?
TÜV is the German technical inspection organization. A TÜV-approved wheel has has been fatigue-tested and approved for a specific list of vehicles, recorded in a report. This report also indicates, where applicable, the fitting conditions to be observed (special hardware, fender clearance modifications). Ask us for the report corresponding to your vehicle if needed.
What does HLT mean on an OZ wheel?
High Light Technology: the wheel is manufactured using flow forming. It is stretched while rotating, which densifies the material where it is subjected to stress more. With the same design, an HLT version is stiffer and lighter than the cast wheel, at a significantly lower additional cost than a forged wheel.
What does CL mean on certain references?
Central Lock, meaning center locking: the wheel is secured with a single nut in the center rather than studs. It is reserved for vehicles originally equipped with this system. It cannot be fitted to a standard hub.
Why is a maximum load rating indicated?
Each wheel has an approved load rating, expressed in kilograms per wheel. It must cover the actual load supported by the wheel when the vehicle is loaded. On a compact car, the margin is wide. On an SUV, van, or electric vehicle, verification is essential—and explains why some OZ models are reserved for these vehicles.
Are the centering rings and center cap included?
The matching OZ center cap is always included, regardless of the quantity ordered. Centering rings are included with every order of 4 wheels: specify the vehicle concerned when placing your order so we can send you the correct diameter.
Can I order a single wheel?
Yes, all our OZ wheels are sold individually. Adjust the quantity in the cart: 1 for a replacement, 2 for one axle, 4 for a complete set. It is also which allows different widths to be fitted at the front and rear.
