The Air Lift 24575 is a pressure switch that automatically controls a compressor: it starts the compressor when pressure drops below 145 PSI (≈ 10.0 bar) and shuts it off at 175 PSI (≈ 12.1 bar). Thread 1/8" MNPT.

Installation Tips

Installation (recommended by a professional)

1. Turn off the compressor’s power supply.
2. Depressurize the system if necessary.
3. Screw the pressure switch onto a 1/8" NPT port using appropriate Teflon/sealant (without excess).
4. Connect the wiring according to your diagram (often via relay).
5. Test: starts below 145 PSI and cuts off at 175 PSI.

Please note

The 24575 is a mechanical pressure switch (compressor ON/OFF). It is not used to display pressure on a digital controller (it’s not a 0–5V analog sensor). Depending on the compressor, it is often recommended for certain Viair models (e.g., 380C / 480C).
