Technical details

For models with an Ø 18 mm anti-roll bar, includes:
Rear subframe bushing on the rear subframe
Replaces the original rubber/metal bushing

What this part changes

The original bushing is made of rubber: it filters well, but it deforms under load. When cornering or braking, the arm moves by a few millimetres and the alignment changes during the manoeuvre - this is the vagueness between the steering wheel and the wheels.

Polyurethane deforms much less: the connection becomes precise and repeatable, and the car responds at the same point every time. The trade-off is more road noise and vibrations in the cabin, especially when cold.

What to plan for

Install lubricated with PU or silicone grease - never use mineral grease, as it damages polyurethane.
Tighten to the specified torque with the wheels on the ground.
On a family car, start with the anti-roll bar before replacing everything with PU.
