The OZ Ultraleggera HLT

The Ultraleggera enhanced with HLT (High Light Technology): the wheel is flow-formed, which densifies the material around the tire bead seat. With the same design, it offers increased rigidity and significantly reduced unsprung mass compared with the cast version.

This model has TÜV approval: the German organization has validated the wheel for the vehicle applications covered by the report. It is the most demanding certification on the European market and sets OZ apart from many aftermarket brands. The TÜV report lists the applicable vehicles and, where relevant, the fitting conditions. Ask us for the report corresponding to your vehicle if needed.

Construction: flow-formed (HLT)

Flow forming stretches the wheel while it rotates at high temperature. The material is densified around the tire bead seat: increased rigidity and reduced weight, without the cost of a forged wheel.

This process explains most of the price difference within the OZ catalog for comparable designs and dimensions.

This wheel is fitted with 60° conical hardware, standard on almost all alloy wheels on the market. Depending on your vehicle, the original hardware may be too short or have a different profile (ball-seat, flat-seat): check this before fitting.
