The OZ Ultraleggera HLT

The Ultraleggera enhanced with HLT (High Light Technology): the wheel is flow-formed, which densifies the material around the tire bead seat. With the same design, it gains rigidity and significantly reduces unsprung mass compared with the cast version.

This model has TÜV approval: the German organization has validated the wheel for the vehicle applications covered by the report. It is the most demanding certification on the European market, distinguishing OZ from many aftermarket brands. Construction: flow-formed (HLT)

Flow forming stretches the wheel while hot as it rotates. The material becomes denser around the tire bead seat: increased rigidity, reduced weight, without the cost of a forged wheel.

This process explains most of the price difference within the OZ catalog when the design and dimensions are comparable.

This wheel uses 60° conical hardware, standard on nearly all aftermarket alloy wheels. Depending on your vehicle, the original hardware may be too short or have a different profile (ball-seat or flat-seat): check this before fitting.
