Why choose the duo pack?

⚡ Doubled flow rate

3.52 CFM instead of 1.76 CFM. The tank fills twice as fast, and height adjustments are more responsive — especially if you have a 4-bag setup with a large tank.

If one compressor fails, the other keeps the system running. You’re never stuck on the ground due to a single point of failure.

Installation tips

2 × separate 40A fuses

Each compressor must have its own independent 40A fuse — mandatory. Never both on the same fuse. A 40A relay per compressor is also recommended.

Dry & ventilated area

Both compressors must be installed in a water- and heat-protected area. Provide sufficient fresh airflow for both — do not stack them.

Battery in good condition

Starting current doubles in duo setup. A weak battery can damage coils. Consider an auxiliary battery for heavily used setups.

Double electrical ground

Each compressor must have its own reliable ground on the chassis. Do not connect grounds in series — a bad ground on one will affect both performances.

Electrical wiring: with two 40A compressors running simultaneously, use appropriately sized wiring (minimum 6 mm²) from the battery. A power distribution block (fuse block) is highly recommended to secure the installation.

🔥

Increased heat: two compressors running generate more heat than one. Do not place plastic parts or heat-sensitive materials near them. Ensure sufficient clearance around each compressor.

Dry rotor = zero maintenance: both compressors operate oil-free. No oil changes, no lubrication — just regularly check that air filters (if included in your management kit) are clean to maintain optimal flow.

Frequently asked questions
What is the real difference between a single and duo compressor setup?
The main difference is the speed of pressure build-up in the tank. With a single compressor, you get 1.76 CFM — with a duo, 3.52 CFM combined. The tank fills twice as fast after a height adjustment. The height adjustments themselves don’t change — the valves manage that, not the compressor. However, if you do many cycles, the duo better preserves both compressors by sharing the thermal load.
Do both compressors run at the same time?
Yes, both run simultaneously. They are connected in parallel on the same activation circuit — when the pressure switch (or ECU) sends the signal, both start at the same time. That’s why each compressor must have its own dedicated 40A fuse: the combined starting current of both is significant.
Are the check valves already installed on the compressors upon delivery?
Yes, the ¼" stainless steel check valves are factory-installed directly on the outlet fittings of each compressor. You don’t have to do anything on that side — just connect your air line directly to them.
Is this pack compatible with all air management systems (AccuAir, Air Lift, Level Ride…)?
Yes, the comp1 EVO is universal. The ¼" stainless steel fittings are compatible with AccuAir, Air Lift Performance, Level Ride standards, and classic manual systems. The start management (via pressure switch, ECU, or switch) is independent of the compressor — your air management controls the activation.
