Sport front axle brake disc set for Suzuki Baleno wagon / Baleno / Baleno hatchback

Specifications

Part numberEVOBS2500P
Weight7.8 kg
Years1995 - 2002
EAN code4251016732607

Technical details

  • OEM part numbers: 55311-61G00, 55311-61G01

What this part changes

A sport disc is judged by its ability to disperse heat, not by its appearance. Grooves and drilled holes remove the gases and dust that build up between the disc and the pad: bite stays firm brake after brake, whereas a solid disc starts to feel spongy.

On a road car, the improvement is most noticeable on a mountain descent or track day - exactly where tired brakes become frightening.

What to plan for

  • Discs and pads must be replaced per axle, never on just one side.
  • Bedding-in: perform around ten progressive braking operations without coming to a complete stop before pushing harder; otherwise the pad may bed in unevenly and warp the disc.
  • Check that the ABS ring is supplied or can be reused when the disc carries it.
✔ ECE approval
