Sport brake disc set for the front axle for VW T4

Features

Part numberEVOBS1374P
Weight10.8 kg
Years1990/07-2003/04
EAN code4250570673746

Technical details

  • OEM reference: 701615301C

What this part changes

A sport disc is judged by its ability to disperse heat, not by its appearance. Grooves and drillings expel the gases and dust that build up between the disc and pad: braking remains sharp with every application, whereas a solid disc starts to feel spongy.

On a road car, the benefit is most noticeable on a mountain descent or track day - precisely where tired brakes become frightening.

What to plan for

  • Discs and pads must be replaced per axle, never on just one side.
  • Bedding-in: perform around ten progressive brake applications without coming to a complete stop before driving hard; otherwise the pad may bed in unevenly and warp the disc.
  • Check that the ABS ring is supplied or can be transferred when the disc carries it.
✔ ECE approval
