Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit include air management (compressor, tank, valves)?

No. The FAHRWairK V1 is a suspension kit only (shock absorbers + bellows). Air management is necessary to operate the system. We strongly recommend management with height sensors. Find our selection of air management kits on Rasl'Bitume.

What is the difference with the FAHRWairK V3?

The V1 uses KW V1 fixed damping shock absorbers — perfectly calibrated for the road, with no manual adjustment. The V3 incorporates TVR-A (rebound adjustment) and TVC-A (compression adjustment) technology, allowing you to fine-tune the dynamic behavior manually. The V1 is the FAHRWairK entry-level: the same KW × Continental manufacturing quality, for a budget 800 € lower.

Which fitting diameter should you choose?

It depends on your air management. The 6 mm is suitable for TA Technix and entry-level systems. The 1/4" is the Accuair / Air Lift Performance standard. The 3/8" is reserved for high-performance systems. If in doubt, contact us via contact@raslbitume.com.

Is the FAHRWairK V1 compatible with the A5 Cabriolet?

Yes. Unlike some kits on the market, the FAHRWairK V1 also covers the A5 Cabriolet (8F7) — all engine types, including the S5 quattro 245 kW. This is covered by the included TÜV §19.3 certificate.

Do I need to have the kit approved after installation?

The TÜV §19.3 certificate is included in the delivery. It must be presented during the technical inspection and may require registration with local authorities depending on your region. Your partner installer will guide you. Find our approved installers on raslbitume.com.

What is the delivery time?
