The Direct Inlet Air Filter VIAIR/STREETEC in gray plastic housing screws directly onto the inlet port of your piston compressor. It filters the intake air by removing contaminants — dust, dirt, moisture — before they enter the compressor, extending its lifespan and maintaining optimal performance. Compact, lightweight, and easy to install, it is available in two sizes to fit all VIAIR and STREETEC compressors. Comes with a filter element included.

This filter features a 1/4" NPT male thread — compatible with all compressors with a 1/4" inlet port:

1/4" NPT → VIAIR 444C Chrome

1/4" NPT → VIAIR 444C Stealth Black

1/4" NPT → STREETEC comp2 EVO Black

1/4" NPT → Any compressor with a 1/4" inlet port

For 480C and 485C compressors (3/8" port), use the 3/8" NPT version.

Replace the filter element regularly — a clogged filter reduces airflow and can cause your compressor to overheat. Replacement elements available separately.

Screw the filter directly onto the compressor’s inlet port — use a thread sealant, not Teflon tape.

Make sure the filter has a sufficient fresh air supply — do not place it in a completely enclosed space.

In dusty environments (track, show), inspect and clean the filter more frequently to maintain compressor performance.
