Is air management required?

For practical use, yes. This product page includes only the air suspension struts. You will need an air management system (compressor, tank, solenoid valves) to adjust the ride height. We offer Air Lift management kits separately.

What is the difference between Slam and Performance?

Slam Series is aimed at daily driving and comfort, with a focus on maximum drop and everyday use. The damping is fixed (tuned). Performance Series offers much more adjustability with 30-position adjustable monotube dampers, even more premium components, and a focus on sporty driving/track use. If you are primarily looking for a slammed look with daily comfort, Slam is the perfect choice. If you want maximum adjustability and a performance-oriented setup, choose Performance Series.

Can the damping be adjusted?

Slam Series kits Slam Series feature fixed-rate damping, optimized (tuned) and specifically tailored to the vehicle. The ride is designed for comfortable daily use, offering a good balance between comfort and handling.

Is the installation complicated?

Air Lift designs Slam Series kits for a straightforward OEM replacement, with bolt-on installation on most vehicles and few or no modifications. Detailed instructions are provided with each kit. If you have mechanical skills or are used to working on your car, the installation is manageable. Otherwise, we recommend calling on a professional to ensure an optimal and safe installation.

Can I pass the roadworthiness inspection?

Many Air Lift products have TÜV approval (German certification). Depending on your country and local regulations, specific procedures may be required. Contact us to check your vehicle's situation and obtain the approval documents if available.

Can you switch back to the original suspension?

Yes! Slam Series kits are designed to replace the OEM suspension and can be removed to reinstall the original components if needed. This is an important advantage if you resell the vehicle or change your project.
