This is useful information: the wheel is part of the vehicle's unsprung mass, which the shock absorbers must control over every road imperfection. A lighter wheel is easier to control and also reduces inertia during acceleration and braking.

For reference, an 18-inch alloy wheel typically weighs between 10 and 13 kg, depending on its width and design. The tire's weight is added to this.

Fitting, fasteners and centering rings

For BBS, the fitting kit — fasteners and centering rings — is included with the purchase of a set of 4 wheels. Orders of 1, 2, or 3 wheels are delivered without them. BBS fasteners are supplied only if your vehicle's original ones are incompatible, and centering rings only if needed: specify your vehicle when ordering, and we'll determine what you need.
