This is useful information: the wheel is part of the vehicle's unsprung mass, which the shock absorbers have to control over every road imperfection. A lighter wheel is easier to control, and also reduces inertia during acceleration and braking.

As a reference, an 18-inch alloy wheel commonly weighs between 10 and 13 kg, depending on width and design. The tire's weight is added to this figure.

For BBS, the mounting kit — fasteners and centering rings — is included with the purchase of a set of 4 wheels. An order for 1, 2 or 3 wheels is delivered without accessories. BBS fasteners are included only if your vehicle's original ones are not compatible, and centering rings only if needed: specify your vehicle when ordering, and we'll determine what you need.
