Suspension arm for Fiat Cinquecento/Seicento, front axle-R

Specifications

Part number41FI0008
Weight3.13 kg
Years07.1991 - 01.2010
EAN code4250570678789

Technical details

  • With ball joint and bearing
  • OEM reference: 07 636 996, 7 636 996

What this part changes

The suspension arm holds the wheel in place and absorbs braking, potholes and acceleration. When its bushings or ball joint develop play, the geometry moves under load: the steering becomes vague, the tyre wears unevenly, and no wheel alignment adjustment stays correct.

A new suspension arm restores the car's original precision - it's a repair, not a performance upgrade, but it is often the most noticeable change you can feel on a ten-year-old car.

What to plan for

  • Wheel alignment is mandatory after installation: the toe alignment changes as soon as an arm is removed.
  • Tighten to the specified torque with the wheels on the ground; otherwise the bushings work under preload and squeak.
  • If the axle is removed, take the opportunity to inspect the ball joints and stabilizer links.
