Two measurements to check before buying. The capacity must exceed the actual load being lifted - one axle, not the entire vehicle. And the minimum lifting height determines whether it can fit under a lowered car: a standard workshop jack will not fit.
Never work under a vehicle supported only by the jack. A jack lifts, but it does not support: place the vehicle on jack stands before getting underneath.
