The OZ Ultraleggera HLT

L'Ultraleggera reengineered using HLT (High Light Technology): the wheel is flow-formed, densifying the material around the tire seat. With the same design, it gains rigidity and significantly reduces unsprung weight compared with the cast version.

This model has TÜV approval: the German certification body has approved the wheel for the vehicle applications covered by the report. This is the most demanding certification on the European market, setting OZ apart from many aftermarket brands. Construction: flow formed (HLT)

Flow forming stretches the wheel at high speed as it rotates. The material is denser around the tire bead: increased rigidity, lower weight, without the cost of a forged wheel.

This process explains most of the price difference within the OZ catalog for comparable designs and dimensions.

Installation and fasteners

This wheel uses 60° conical-seat fasteners, standard on almost all alloy wheels on the market. Depending on your vehicle, the original fasteners may be too short or have a different profile (rounded, flat): check before installation.
