The OZ Ultraleggera HLT

The Ultraleggera redesigned with HLT (High Light Technology): the wheel is flow-formed, which densifies the material around the tire bead seat. With the same design, it gains rigidity and significantly reduces unsprung weight compared with the cast version.

Construction: flow-formed (HLT)

Flow forming stretches the wheel at high temperature as it rotates. The material becomes denser around the tire bead seat: increased rigidity and reduced weight, without the cost of a forged wheel.

This process explains most of the price difference within the OZ catalog for comparable designs and dimensions.

This wheel uses 60° conical-seat hardware, standard on almost all alloy wheels on the market. Depending on your vehicle, the original hardware may be too short or have a different profile (bulge or flat): check this before installation.
