The OZ Ultraleggera HLT

The Ultraleggera redesigned with HLT (High Light Technology): the wheel is flow formed, which densifies the material around the tire bead. With the same design, it gains rigidity and significantly reduces unsprung weight compared with the cast version.

TÜV certified

This model has TÜV approval: the German organization has approved the wheel for the vehicle applications covered by the report. It is the most demanding certification on the European market and sets OZ apart from a large part of the aftermarket sector. The TÜV report lists the vehicles concerned and, where applicable, the fitting conditions. Ask us for the report corresponding to your vehicle if needed.

Construction: flow formed (HLT)

Flow forming stretches the wheel at high temperature as it rotates. The material becomes denser around the tire bead: increased rigidity, reduced weight, without the cost of a forged wheel.

This process explains most of the price difference within the OZ range, for comparable designs and dimensions.

Fitting and hardware

This wheel uses 60° conical hardware, standard on almost all alloy wheels on the market. Depending on your vehicle, the original hardware may be too short or have a different profile (ball seat, flat seat): check this before fitting.
