A brake fitting must be selected based on both its thread AND its seating surface. A convex 3/8" UNF fitting will not seal in a concave seat, even if it screws in. Check both before ordering.
The brake circuit operates at over 100 bar: use only hoses and fittings designed for braking systems, never pneumatic or fuel-system components.
