Coilovers replace the factory springs and shocks with an adjustable unit: you set the ride height to the millimetre, for a custom drop and sharper handling. Rasl'Bitume offers over 1,900 kits for Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Seat, Skoda, Honda, Toyota and many more.
Coilover brands
- D2 Racing Street: over 860 kits, built for the street and daily driving.

- TA Technix: over 280 kits in the EVO, Deep and HGW ranges.
Coilovers, lowering springs or air ride?
- Lowering springs: the most affordable option, for a fixed drop.
- Sport suspension kits: matched springs and shocks, fixed drop.
- Coilovers: height adjusted in the workshop, to the millimetre.
- Air ride: height adjustable at any time from the cabin.
TÜV approval
636 kits are TÜV approved (shown on the product page). A plus for compliance; check the regulations in your country.
Fitting and alignment
After lowering, have the alignment checked. Adjustable top mounts let you correct camber and caster; on very low VAG cars, slim driveshafts prevent contact with the chassis rails.
Frequently asked questions
What are coilovers?
A shock and spring unit whose height is set with a threaded body: you move the spring perch up or down to set the ride height.
What is the difference with air ride?
Coilovers are adjusted in the workshop, then the height stays fixed. Air ride can be adjusted at any time from the cabin: slammed when parked, higher for speed bumps.
How low can I go?
It depends on the kit and the vehicle: the adjustment range is shown on the product page when the manufacturer provides it. If in doubt, contact us before ordering.
Are coilovers road legal?
636 kits in our range are TÜV approved (shown on the product page). For the others, check the regulations in your country.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, with Alma or PayPal, depending on the order amount.
