What this part changes

Regarding bump stops: on a lowered car, the shock absorber reaches them much more often. A shorter, progressive bump stop restores usable travel; removing it destroys the shock absorber within a few thousand kilometres.

  • Never improvise a spring compressor using clamps.
  • On a coilover, adjust the height using the supplied hook wrench, never a chisel.
