Function:
After fitting sport catalytic converters or removing the original catalytic converters, the values expected by the ECU are often no longer reached.
This adapter moves the second lambda sensor out of the direct gas flow.
This prevents the engine warning light from coming on without recoding the ECU.

What this part changes

The small hardware without which an exhaust system is not complete: flanges, sleeves, spare parts, and especially lambda sensor adapters.

When a catalytic converter is removed, the downstream sensor no longer detects what it expects and the engine warning light comes on. An adapter places the sensor on a bypass, away from the flow: the fault often disappears without modifying the electronics. It addresses the symptom, not the mapping - and it does not make the car road legal.
