What this part changes

The brace connects the two shock absorber towers. In a hard corner, the loaded suspension tower pushes outward and the geometry deteriorates precisely when it is needed most: the brace distributes the load between both sides.

The front end becomes more precise on turn-in, and the car maintains the same response from one corner to the next. The effect is noticeable on older chassis, convertibles, and high-mileage cars; it is more subtle on a modern, already rigid body.

What to plan for

Check the clearance under the bonnet: the engine cover, hoses, and filter housing do not always accommodate the brace.
A brace should only be installed on sound towers: stiffening between two moving points achieves nothing.
